Orders
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can also log into your account to view order history and live tracking.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders can be amended or cancelled within 1 hour of placement. Please contact us immediately at hello@originsbyhawwa.com and we will do our best to help.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes — we offer complimentary gift wrapping with a handwritten note. Select the gift option at checkout and include your personalised message.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard SSL encryption and never store your full card details. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal.
Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free standard shipping on all UK orders over £40. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination and order weight.
How long does delivery take?
UK standard delivery takes 3–5 working days. Express delivery (1–2 days) is available at checkout. International orders typically take 7–14 working days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
Can I change my delivery address?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, please contact us immediately and we will update your address. Once shipped, we are unable to redirect parcels.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
We offer free returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.
How do I start a return?
Email returns@originsbyhawwa.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you a prepaid returns label within 24 hours.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 3–5 working days of receiving your return. Please allow up to 10 working days for the amount to appear in your account.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes — you can exchange for a different shade or size subject to availability. Simply mention your preference in your return email.
Fabric & Care
What fabric do you use?
We use premium OEKO-TEX certified Modal — a natural, sustainable fibre made from beechwood trees. It is extraordinarily soft, breathable, and drapes beautifully.
Is the fabric opaque?
Yes. All our fabrics are fully opaque and have been carefully tested in all lighting conditions to ensure they meet the highest modest fashion standards.
How should I care for my garment?
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Turn garments inside out before washing. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Iron on a low heat setting if needed.
Is your packaging sustainable?
Yes — all our packaging is plastic-free, recyclable, and made from FSC certified materials. Our poly mailers are made from 100% recycled materials.
Sizing
How do I find my size?
Please refer to the size guide on each product page. Our hijabs come in standard sizes and most of our pieces are designed with a relaxed, modest fit.
Do you offer petite or plus sizes?
We currently stock sizes XS–2XL. We are actively working to expand our range. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when new sizes launch.
What if I'm between sizes?
If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed, modest drape. Our pieces are designed to be worn with ease and movement.
